I don't know, I'm pretty skeptical about that reason. The best viewing angle is fully dependent on a person's height.

And also, if they set the 'Apple Angle' "every morning" isn't that going to be disrupted after an hour or two of customers changing the angles? So for the next person forward, the screens are at a different angle.

Seems pretty bogus and click-baity to me.
