Basic Brightness and Contrast for each Eye

Crystal Light user, just started looking at your project, very nice.

My headset requires one click of brightness and contrast in Pimax play which fixes a strange unpleasant effect in dark conditions. As Pimax play settings are ignored, is it possible you could add the basic Brightness and Contrast settings into your driver please?

Hardware brightness in Pimax Play still works when my driver is running. The custom shader has image enhancements like contrast. The contrast also has an adjustable midpoint, so I suspect you can get the effect you are looking for with it.

Thanks for the reply, I am using Pimax evo open port. This ignores the Pimax settings once the Sboy driver is loaded.

I have tried all the settings I can find in the Sboy driver, sadly with no success in replicating the basic Brightness and Contrast.

Most settings are ignored, but the backlight brightness still works. Did you try the contrast in the custom shader on the general page?
