Wrong height when using Pimax Dream Air Slam

Often after adjusting the Pimax Dream Air Slam headset with my hands, it might loose the tracking for a split seconds and it causes to loose the height position causing it to jump down or up with no way to reset it (or at least i have no idea how to do so) without closing the game and going through the room setup again.

Are there any way to set the height to some specific number when it looses tracking?

If its drifting during a game then you may have a reset centre position in FS2024 its shift key in others its ctrl and space bar, if its room calibration I would recalibrate the height as 150cm from desk this works well for me.

no, ot jumps quite significantly even when being in steamvr home, then centering in steamvr only fixes the position, not the height. Making games such as HL:Alyx essentially unplayable, since there is no other way to set the character height in-game.

In that case if it's jumping around even in steamvr home after setting standing only and calibration of floor height to 150cm is not helping then you need to address what in your room is causing it to drift so much? Reflections glass pc cases glossy surfaces? Sudden occlusion?

It's not something in my room that causes that. It's me causing this - when i try to adjust the headset position on my head, i might accidentally cover a camera with my hand, it causes the issue. It's ok for the issue to occour - totally understandable. The problem is there is no way to rocover from it as of right now.

I've own quest 3 before and it's something that would happen to it as well in the same scenario, but it would always fix itself (since it has a mesh of my envarinment it totally understands that it jumped).

You can use this program to fix the floor level by placing a controller on the ground and hitting the Fix Floor Level button. https://github.com/OpenVR-Advanced-Settings/OpenVR-AdvancedSettings/releases
It is a SteamVR overlay, so you don't need to take the headset off it to do so.
