Feature Request - key bindings

would it make sense to add keybinding to the UI so users could things like :

hitting the up and down keys while focus is on the #message input will scroll through a history of what you have previously said

hitting the tab key while focus is on the #message input will attempt to autocomplete the name of someone who is logged into the chat

konami code?
