Listing institutional partners #12
Description
In the governance doc, we have a section describing institutional partners and acknowledgment on the website. I see two possible places for this
- at the bottom of the main page (simpeg.xyz)
- on a new "community" or "contributors" page that would also include a list of contributors as well as a brief description of governance that links to the governance doc (or is built from it?)
I could be convinced either way on this, but at the moment, I am inclined to put it on the main page for visibility.
In order to collect this information, I suggest we set up a google form that includes
- organization name
- contact person + email
- URL for a logo
- website
- short description of contributions
- acknowledgment of funding sources
Before the logo goes live, I will review it -- if it is a clear "yes", then post it on the website, and if there are questions / discussion, we can chat about it at the weekly meeting.
This list will be reviewed annually as described in the governance doc, and if and of the Institutional Partners are no longer active contributors, then I will reach out to the contact person and ask if they are intending to continue contributing and if not, that their logo will be removed 1 year from then.
