Description
Please tell us about yourself (include an email address):
My name is Zohaib, a computer science student and independent developer building mualim.app—an AI-powered Islamic learning platform.
Email: info@mualim.app
Your purpose in using this API:
I am developing mualim.app, a mobile-first application focused on Quran memorization (Hifz), recitation assistance, and Islamic learning. The API will be used to integrate authentic hadith data into the app, allowing users to access relevant hadith alongside Quranic content, learning modules, and AI-assisted features.
API rate limits:
- Maximum requests per second: 5–10 requests/second
- Maximum requests per day: 50,000–100,000 requests/day
These estimates are based on projected growth and may scale as the user base increases.
Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access?
An offline dataset would be preferred for performance and reliability in mobile environments, especially to support offline access for users. However, API access would still be useful for updates and synchronization.
What are the languages in which would you like hadith data?
Primarily English and Arabic. Support for Urdu would also be highly valuable for a broader user base.
What programming language will your API client be in?
The client will primarily be built using Dart (Flutter) for mobile applications, with some backend components in Python for processing and AI-related tasks.
