No support for fingerprint sensor EgisTec EH576 (USB ID 1c7a:0576) #237
Description
I have an EgisTec EH576 fingerprint sensor that is not currently supported by python-validity.
Device Information:
- Vendor: LighTuning Technology Inc. / EgisTec
- USB ID: 1c7a:0576
- Product: EgisTec EH576
- OS: Fedora 43
- Laptop: Lenovo Yoga 6 13ABR8
The sensor is detected by USB but not supported by python-validity.
Error: "No matching devices found"
lsusb output:
Bus 003 Device 002: ID 1c7a:0576 LighTuning Technology Inc. EgisTec EH576
The device is detected but not supported. I've verified that python-validity is installed and running, but it fails with "No matching devices found".
Would it be possible to add support for this device?
