Description
Hi, thank you for providing this tool! I came across an issue trying to compare read lengths for different barcoded samples in my sequencing run:
-
for barcoded sample 04, read lengths are distributed over 15 bins, where as for all other barcodes (see barcode02 in image) the read lengths are distributed across considerably more bins.
-
I checked the NanoStats file and there is little to no difference for number of reads, bases median/mean read length or Q scores for barcode04 and the others in the sequencing run.
-
Any idea what would be the cause of this? I found this reference to bins at line 407 in nanoplotter_main.py > what is the 'maxvalx'?
- Is there an optional command to include uniform bin sizes across barcoded samples? Thank you in advance!
