I've successfully fixed the deprecation warnings in the PostgreSQL installation instructions by replacing the deprecated apt-key command with the modern GPG keyring approach.

Todo List:

• Search for PostgreSQL installation instructions in the codebase
• Update instructions to use modern keyring approach instead of deprecated apt-key
• Verify the new instructions are correct
• Commit the changes

Changes Made:

Updated /home/runner/work/pgforge.dev/pgforge.dev/src/utils/system.ts:343 to replace:

wget --quiet -O - https://www.postgresql.org/media/keys/ACCC4CF8.asc | sudo apt-key add -

With the modern approach:

wget --quiet -O - https://www.postgresql.org/media/keys/ACCC4CF8.asc | sudo gpg --dearmor -o /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/pgdg.gpg

Summary:

This fix eliminates both deprecation warnings by:

• ✅ Removing the deprecated apt-key command usage
• ✅ Using gpg --dearmor to properly format the key
• ✅ Storing the key directly in /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/ (the modern location)
• ✅ Following Ubuntu/Debian best practices for APT repository key management

The new approach is the officially recommended replacement and will work without any deprecation warnings on Ubuntu 24.04 (Noble) and other modern Debian-based systems.
