I've successfully implemented systemd service management to ensure PostgreSQL instances auto-start after machine restart/failure.

   • enable-service <name> [--user] - Enable auto-start for an instance
   • disable-service <name> [--user] - Disable auto-start for an instance
   • service-status <name> [--user] - Check systemd service status

4. Enhanced Instance Management (src/instance/manager.ts)

   • Integrated service operations with existing process management
   • Service status monitoring and synchronization
   • Backward compatibility with direct process management

5. Updated Display (src/utils/display.ts)

   • Auto-start status column in instance list
   • Service information in detailed instance view
   • Clear visual indicators for service state
