Issue while trying to authenticate Copilot

Having trouble trying to authenticate copilot. I've searched through filed bugs and discussions but none of them worked.

When I try to run :Copilot auth, I see below error
Client 4 quit with exit code 1 and signal 0

Windows system with linux WSL.
I'm using NvChad base configuration.

What does :Copilot status and :Copilot version show?

[Copilot] Not Started

:Copilot version returns,

[Copilot] Not Started

Neovim 0.8.3
copilot.vim 1.8.3
copilot.lua e8494599b872395a181ebcfae9e5c1b00af351a2
copilot/dist/agent.js not running

I've tried checking the above commands with lazy = false as well but same result.

You probably don't have node installed in your environment.

So it's really old. Copilot needs at least v16.

Updating node fixed the issue thanks!

When I checked and tried to update node, it said v12 was the latest. So had to another find another way to update.

Finally was able to update through nvm to node v18
