I haven't yet tried to debug the gradient code, but there is a "dead pixel" effect in some of the examples.
I see the same effect in both Chrome and Firefox (with the dead pixels in exactly the same places), so it isn't a browser issue. I suspect it is some sort of rounding error. You would need to compare with the Cairo rendering of the same gradients to determine if the problem is inherent in the rendering code or if it was introduced by converting to JavaScript.
