Sample Matrix

How to Decode the Matrix

Here is how to understand the image above.

  • No Node 1 Nodes are plotted on the x-axis, and you'll notice that there is no node number 1 shown on the axis.

  • No Node Looking at the key, you can see that missing nodes are plotted in green. If you look at the y-axis, node 26 is highlighted in green. If you then look at the x-axis, you'll see that there is no node 26 plotted. This means that there is no node 26, and yet several devices include node 26 in their neighbor list. This is often helpful in identifying devices that need to be re-synced (to eliminate stale nodes from the list).

  • lost (7) The chart highlights nodes that have not communicated with the Indigo server in the last 20 days. These are highlighted in the matrix itself. In the example, node 38 has not communicated with the server in the last 20 days. (The parenthetical value is the number of days set in the plugin configuration.)

  • battery The chart highlights devices that are battery powered. In the sample image, they are highlighted in bright blue.

  • neighbor The standard color that will be used when all other characteristics do not apply.

  • self There is an indicator in the sample image for a devices' own number. In other words, device 2 does not have a neighbor of 2, yet it is plotted. This is an optional setting.
