Summary

Implements the initial Windows Security Inspector repository as a shared Windows PowerShell 5.1 / PowerShell 7 codebase.

Included

  • entry-point script and module manifest
  • compatibility and shared helper modules
  • structured finding schema and configurable risk scoring
  • core collector orchestration with failure isolation
  • JSON, summary JSON, Markdown, and execution log output
  • default configuration and allowlist
  • Pester test scaffolding and GitHub Actions workflow
  • architecture, findings, and configuration documentation

Validation

The repository structure and commit were created through the GitHub connector. PowerShell tests and ScriptAnalyzer could not be executed in this environment because no Windows PowerShell runtime or authenticated GitHub CLI is available.

Notes

This is a draft PR. Collector breadth should be reviewed and expanded against real Windows systems before marking ready.
