I remember that ever since I was little, I've always loved technology and computer programming, and I learned a lot on my own, like Arduino, app development, and video game development. And although this isn't my first project or my first game, I have to admit that it was thanks to this awful game that I truly became passionate about programming. I don't do this for fame; I do it out of love for technology and because I love it, and I know that one day I'll surprise the world with new technologies. But in the meantime, this racing game has been one of the pillars that has most motivated me to move forward with my dreams and projects.
This game was created in 2019, at that time I was 14 years old and I wasn't sure about showing it because I was embarrassed since, as I said before, it's not a top-level game, but you have to start somewhere.
To develop this game, I used JavaScript, HTML, and CSS—the typical basic languages of web programming. I never had any trouble with HTML or CSS, but with JavaScript, it wasn't that I didn't understand it; it was just that I found the JS syntax complicated. In fact, I started programming with Python, and I found it easier to understand thanks to its simpler syntax.
Well, I'll leave you the Codepen link so you can check it out and play it if you want to play it.
