CVGameDev - Catch the Miku

Small game showcased on Mt San Antonio College Club Rush in representing Mt. SAC Computer Science Club

This is a small computer vision game where you use your hand to catch moving objects on the screen.

Instead of using a mouse or keyboard, the game tracks your index finger through your webcam and uses it as the input.

How it works

The webcam feed is displayed as the background, your index finger is tracked in real time, make sure you have a webcam on your laptop or connected in usb if you are using a PC. Multiple Mikus will move across the screen! Touching one increases your score and missing one decreases your score. The game runs for 30 seconds.

This only serves as a general template, you are of course! welcome to replace the game logic how ever you want, and the props too! Show us some creativity!

Run the project

Install dependencies:

pip install pygame opencv-python numpy cvzone

Run the Game!

python CatchTheMiku.py
