@AashnaAnand25 please remember to make the base qa-forum that you're merging into! not main. i made the change but remember for the future

the 'first to answer' this question styling is off, and should be able to be easily fixed. refer to this:

the text itself is not centered or the correct wording

the ui for 'answer this question'
image
and then on click it showing up like this:

is not intended functionality at all.

that should always be displayed as such whether there are answers or not:

*in addition, because of that, there shouldn't be any cancel button when you click answer question.

you seem to be overcomplicating things, not understanding the figma, and /or maybe using ai willy nilly. i am not sure but please work to do each step little by little with intention!

image the netid should not be floating like that, in fact it shouoldn't be associated with answers at all it should be anonymous, so needs to be removed.

also, there shouldn't be this faint outline around the whole box, as you can see, around the edges.

the 'answer' text box should not be hand draggable. i'm not sure if this was an error from the individual who made this component before or if it was changed after the fact, but please edit it to not have that option

There should not be a change in the word submit to 'submitting' text per requirements. please remove that.

good job on the submit button post functionality itself, that looks great!

i would also recommend reassessing why if ever you need to be changing the code from past components, i feel that it shouldn't be happening as much as it is in your 'files changed' tab.
