kaambox-arduino

Description

KaamBox is a custom useless box that triggers a random Kaamelott sound handled by a daemon process on a remote server (see the kaambox-daemon project).

Setup

• Set this Complementary board URL in your Arduino IDE settings: http://arduino.esp8266.com/versions/2.4.0/package_esp8266com_index.json
• Go to Tools -> Board Type -> Board Manager and install the following packages: esp8266 and WiFi Manager

Open a terminal, go to the ~/Arduino/libraries directory and clone the following repositories:

• git clone https://github.com/earlephilhower/ESP8266Audio
• git clone https://github.com/Gianbacchio/ESP8266_Spiram

Then, in the Tools menu, select the following values:

• Board type: WeMos D1 R2 & mini
• Flash size: 4M (3M SPIFFS)
• IwIP Variant: v2 Prebuilt (MSS=536)
• CPU Frequency: 160 MHz
