OpenContext

OpenContext is a place where anyone can share their Claude Code and Codex chat histories openly and safely. Visit the OpenContext forum.

How to Share Your Context to OpenContext

Step 1 — Install OneContext

OneContext gives a unified context across all AI agents.

Install it:

npm i -g onecontext-ai

Then open:

onecontext

Step 2 — Import History or Create a New Context

To import chat history:

Go to Config → Import history, select a workspace, and OneContext will pull in your Claude Code or Codex sessions. Select the sessions you want and press Import. OneContext aggregates them into a human-readable Context.

Or start fresh:

Create a new context from the dashboard, then open Claude Code or Codex under it and work as normal. OneContext automatically organizes everything you do into a shareable context layer.

Step 3 — Share to OpenContext

Press Share on a context. OneContext generates a post to the OpenContext forum automatically. You can choose whether to attach your redacted chat session alongside it.

What You Can Do with Others' Shared Contexts

  1. Import it — bring someone else's context into your own OneContext and continue the work in Claude Code or Codex

  2. Chat with it — ask questions about the context to quickly get up to speed

  3. Download the raw history — if the author chose to share it, you can download the full redacted chat session
