The export functionality

The customizer offers two types of different export functions.

The first one is download as STL option directly in the app. This functionality works well but isn't 3D printable in some circumstances because of the intersecting faces between the different body parts.

The second one is the Share on MyMiniFactory option. This exports the model and goes throw a post-processing algorithm that will merge together the different meshes and repair the mesh before the print. This second option is strongly recommended if the file is used for printing purposes.
