I'm a software engineer from France ;) I've studied maths/physics, and now I enjoy programming a lot!
My interests are quite diverse, spanning traditional software engineering, modern machine learning and nlp, but also lower-level intricacies.
This year, I've worked on several Rust projects:
- an HTTP/1.1 server, a (forwarding-)DNS server
- a tree-walk interpreter
I also started my personal website and posted my first articles there.
I've been using Rust for nearly all my side projects and enjoying this new language a lot. However I'm using Python daily at work and love this language as well.
Recently, I started contributing to my favourite open-source projects. In particular, I love projects with interesting and fruitful Rust/Python interop.
Pydantic
- My first ever PR to oss: pydantic/pydantic-core#1791
- My first ever merged PR to oss: pydantic/pydantic-core#1799
Pydantic-AI
- I wrote this issue: Passing Pydantic validation context for output and tool arguments validation #3381
- And solved the problem with a new feature implemented in Support Pydantic validation context #3448. It took several code-review iterations, I had to write new tests and documentation and think carefully about how to add/expose the new feature.
Instructor
My goal is to continue this oss work which I enjoy a lot! You can expect more contributions coming soon, especially as I'll be joining the Recurse Center in January.
