Just a comment: While this might be useful, doing a cross compile is so much faster imho.
This already has the LUT correction dependencies which are not useful in context of this pr.
There is no harm in merging this though. Consider breaking up features in several logical pr if possible for the future.

Yeah that's not meant to be in there. LLM brought it across from something I referenced in a prompt. Good thing you're on to it. Happy for you to tidy it up accordingly. I know what I want... Just maybe not how to get there
