This PR documents the new MCP tools for managing column annotations on saved queries (views) added in PostHog/posthog#67725, as well as the existing warehouse table annotation tools that were previously undocumented.
Updates to
contents/docs/data-warehouse/run-sql-mcp.mdx:Updated intro paragraph – Added "annotate tables and columns" and "add semantic descriptions to your data" to describe the new capabilities.
Added bullet to "How it works" – New bullet explaining users can annotate tables and columns so PostHog AI understands their data.
Added new "Column annotation tools" section documenting all 5 enabled annotation tools:
