This is a minor update – and a surprise just for you. 👀

NEW: Prank Mode

There’s now a hidden prank mode built right into Emerald.
Why? Because I made this specifically to mess with my brother, and now you get to mess with yours too (if you have one if you even use this app)

How to activate:
Just type PRANK anywhere inside the launcher (yes, just slam those keys).
Do it again to turn it off.

What you can do with it:

Send random chats straight to your victim’s screen
Minimize Minecraft mid-game (evil, I know)
Click around or control their game remotely

Notes & Safety:

This only works through LAN (so no pranking random internet strangers – sorry, or maybe not sorry).
You can turn prank mode off any time.
Tech note: It will occupy TCP ports 6001 and 7001 while it’s active.

The prank itself is handled by a separate little program, which is bundled in this release.
Both Windows and macOS versions are included, so no excuses.

🛠️ Other Fixes

(I think) fixed that "Minecraft path cannot be found" error.
Fixed settings not saving properly.

Installation Notes

This update cannot be installed through the auto-updater (don’t even try).
If you have an old version of Emerald installed:

Uninstall it first
Then install this one fresh
Don’t forget to install the certificate again (as mentioned in previous releases)

The team at @RiversideValley have been gone for a while due to school problems and therefore we've been less active. We've recently merged our largest pull request, #19, which switched Emerald from UWP to WinUI and added things like Crowdin and a better utilisation of FluentUI. We also added more of @RiversideValley's branding into the app. Hope you enjoy!
