What changed
Why
Wire already exposed the right MCP primitives, but Codex lacked packaged discovery, reusable workflow skills, and a one-command plugin installation path.
Impact
Codex users gain native plugin ergonomics without a second protocol layer. Claude plugin behavior and MCP-only setups remain supported.
Validation
