I'm not gonna lie, I don't know much about this at all, but I am certain that the DU parts exist now. I've bought the AVR64DU28 and I'm looking for a way to program them without straight bare-metal C.

So... as an intermediate step, would you be interested in AVR-DU support WITHOUT USB?

I would be, and I would like to contribute, but I’m not sure how useful I would actually be. But I’m also wondering, why would AVR-DU support WITH USB be so difficult to implement?
