I'm Nazanin Ahmadi, Computer engineering student of Isfahan University of Technology.
Project Overview:
This project was developed for the Computer Networks Laboratory course at Isfahan University of Technology (IUT). Its main goal was to design and configure a complete network topology in Cisco Packet Tracer, incorporating most of the networking concepts covered throughout the semester.
Implemented Features:
-
Configured EIGRP routing protocol
-
Implemented HSRP for redundancy
-
Set up routing redistribution between protocols
-
Configured NAT and PAT
-
Server configurations:
- DHCP Server
- DNS Server
- Web Server
- Mail Server
-
Configured EtherChannel
-
Enabled SSH on selected devices
-
Dynamic IP assignment via DHCP
-
Disabled unused switch ports and assigned them to a VLAN named BlackHole
-
Tested full connectivity between all PCs (Ping tests)
-
Applied access restrictions for the University section
-
Tested Cloudflare connectivity (inside vs outside network)
Project Objective: The goal of this project was to simulate a real-world enterprise network and gain practical experience with routing protocols, redundancy mechanisms, and network security. Through this project, I strengthened my understanding of routers, switches, and advanced networking configurations.
