Forgot to add this in for the rewrite.
I wanted to useinit = ..., but I was struggling to wire it up in a way that would be non-breaking. So settled forinsert()for now. Might circle back on a fresh brain and revisit sinceauto_insert_resourcewas changed to useinit =after some thought, I think I'm going to keep it as
insert()
