What this does

Publishes the approved TIDES Roadmap for 2026-2027 on the site at Governance > Roadmap, and records the approval as a Board Action.

Per the Board's decision, the Roadmap is published in both formats:

  • a comment-enabled Google Doc (living document, ongoing community input), and
  • a static PDF download hosted on the site (following the TODS Resources model).

The page also links the companion Gantt chart, which visualizes the Roadmap's priorities and serves as the resourcing source of truth.

Approval mechanism

This Pull Request is the publication and ratification mechanism for the TIDES Roadmap for 2026-2027, which the Board approved on June 10, 2026. Board member approvals on this PR serve as the recorded ratification of the publication; the Board Action lands with this merge.

Files

  • docs/governance/roadmap.md – the Roadmap page (living doc link, PDF download, Gantt chart link)
  • docs/assets/TIDES_Roadmap_2026-2027.pdf – the approved Roadmap PDF
  • docs/governance/actions/2026-06-10 approve-tides-roadmap-2026-2027.md – Board Action record
  • mkdocs.yml – nav entry

Review checklist

  • Reviewed and approved by 2+ TIDES Board members (non-normative change to main per the change management policy)
