NSF Kfish Genome Grants
It took 4 rounds of review at the NSF until this project was finally funded (2009 - 2011). Here are each of the proposals, the associated reviewer comments, then the revised proposal (based on those comments). Rinse, repeat (3 times). I post this as a device for revealing the nature of the back and forth involved in grant writing and review (at least through the lens of this one proposal).
