Hi there, I'm Aisha!

Welcome to my GitHub! I am a Senior at Hunter College in New York City, studying Computer Science with minors in Mathematics and Business. I'm an aspiring machine learning engineer with a love for all things data, coding, and problem-solving. My projects dive into AI, geospatial analysis, and web development.

Featured Project: Replication of Community-Based Fact-Checking on Twitter’s Birdwatch Platform (Microsoft DS3)

Explore our collaborative replication of a key computational social science study analyzing how users contribute to Twitter’s (now X’s) Community Notes platform. We recreated the main findings from Proellochs (2021) using publicly available data and extended the analysis to explore the role of political bias in user evaluations.

  • Tools: R, Bash, tidyverse, ggplot2, MASS, broom, RMarkdown, GitHub, Twitter Community Notes Public Dataset
