v1.2.16 improves chat handoff reliability across ADE surfaces, fixes packaged Cursor SDK startup on macOS, and tightens session state, mobile Work, Linear, relay streaming, and App Clip release readiness.

Desktop and CLI

• Chat peer messaging parity. ADE now normalizes chat peer messages, handoff notes, Codex goal state, and subagent activity so desktop, ADE Code, and mobile render the same agent progress and handoff context.
• Session stale state clarity. Work session surfaces now distinguish stale, stopped, waiting, and running states more consistently so stale indicators show only when a session can actually continue.
• Packaged Cursor SDK startup. Installed desktop builds now resolve the Cursor SDK worker through the packaged Node path, and universal macOS packaging now seeds, signs, permits, and prunes the arch-specific native payloads needed for Intel updates, including native addons, runtime archives, and install-time shims.
• Relay chat streaming backpressure. Relay-backed chat streams now handle downstream pressure more safely, reducing dropped or stalled output during busy remote sessions.

iOS

• Mobile-created session refresh. Work lanes refresh after sessions are created from iOS, so the mobile Work list catches up without manual navigation or a desktop-side nudge.
• Linear backlog loading. The mobile Linear pane now loads backlog issues more reliably and keeps its issue list state consistent while paging.
• Start-chat focus polish. The mobile start-chat flow restores keyboard focus behavior so users can begin typing without fighting the composer.
• App Clip release readiness. App Clip packaging metadata and deployment settings remain aligned with the parent app for App Store validation.
