Superseded by #374, which folds this bump in and verifies it against the full test suite.

For the record, the build failure here was not caused by this PR: it is the repo-wide govulncheck failure on GO-2026-5856 (Encrypted Client Hello privacy leak in crypto/tls), which is fixed in Go 1.26.5 while the repo pinned 1.26.4. #374 bumps that pin in go.mod, the three workflows and the Dockerfile, so this class of failure clears.
