This commit addresses multiple Sonar quality gate issues: **Security Fixes:** - Upgrade from EOL Python 2.7 to Python 3.11 (CVE mitigation) - Replace ADD with COPY in Dockerfiles (security best practice) - Add non-root user (appuser) to run containers securely - Pin dependency versions to prevent supply chain attacks **Code Quality Improvements:** - Add comprehensive docstrings to modules and functions - Implement proper logging with configurable levels - Replace bare exception handling with specific error logging - Make all configurations environment-variable based - Improve error handling with connection validation - Add type hints and better code documentation **Maintainability:** - Extract hardcoded values to environment variables - Add connection health checks for Redis - Improve code structure and readability - Update dependencies to latest stable versions Files modified: - 2-building-images/Dockerfile - 2-building-images/app.py - 2-building-images/requirements.txt - 1-5-running-docker-compose/app-python/Dockerfile - 1-5-running-docker-compose/app-python/app.py - 1-5-running-docker-compose/app-python/requirements.txt
