…ry.md cross-linker-spec.md and cross-linker-scale-research.md were working docs for the now-closed map #94 (issue #116, this PR). The as-built behavior lives in skills/cross-linker/SKILL.md and toolkit-spec.md; two ideas from the spec draft (git-snapshot undo, misc-page affinity) were considered and explicitly dropped, not carried forward.
