User Questions

  • Is my uploaded data safe and secure?

The uploaded data in its entirety remains mostly unencrypted on the server (in text form), meaning the webmaster could theoretically access it. Furthermore if someone had your analysis URL, such as http://geordi.cs.uiowa.edu/tma/tmpUPr_lj/lda/topic-list/ then they could examine your uploaded data. For personal material, e.g. emails or diaries, we recommend installing TMA locally (see installation).

  • How should I cite TMA?

For now, please cite TMA as:

  • How long will my analysis be available via the direct online link?

Your analysis will be available for at least 7 days after your last access. This may change in the future, and this page will be updated appropriately.
