📋 Prerequisites

• Node.js (v14 or higher)
• Yarn package manager
• Discord Bot Token

🚀 Installation

1. Clone the repository:

git clone [repository-url]

2. Install dependencies:

yarn install

💻 Usage

1. Start the bot:

yarn start

The bot will:

• Connect to Discord
• Send a reminder message to the specified channel
• Automatically disconnect after sending the message

🔧 Configuration

Local Development

Configure your environment variables in the .env file:

TOKEN=your_discord_bot_token
CHANNEL_ID=your_discord_channel_id
MESSAGE=your_custom_message
SCHEDULE_HOUR=17 # 24-hour format
TIMEZONE=your_timezone # (e.g., America/Sao_Paulo, America/New_York)

GitHub Actions

To configure the bot in GitHub Actions, add the following secrets in your repository settings:

• TOKEN: Your Discord bot token
• CHANNEL_ID: Your Discord channel ID
• MESSAGE: Your custom message
• SCHEDULE_HOUR: The hour when the reminder should be sent (24-hour format)
• TIMEZONE: The timezone in which the message should be scheduled (e.g., America/Sao_Paulo, America/New_York)
