I realize there is already a PR that kind of does this, but it has been stale for over a year, and it didn't convert all the READMEs or change their extensions to .md
I went ahead and converted all of the README files to be
.mdand I tried to improve formatting. If you don't like some of the changes, I can revert, main thing I'm going for is the .md and code blocks.
