👋 Hi, I'm Ivan. I'm a bioinformatician with a background in molecular biology (BSc) and bioinformatics (MSc in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics).
🧬 I work on sequencing data analysis and computational workflows. Designing, building, using and troubleshooting bioinformatics pipelines for NGS data.
🧪 I've worked in both research labs and bioinformatics service environments, supporting multiple projects and sequencing-based studies across diverse organisms, types of data and experimental designs.
🎓 My MSc thesis focused on incorporating protein structural information into biophysical and thermodynamic models of protein evolution.
🧠 I'm interested in computational approaches to biological systems, from large-scale sequence and structure analysis to information processing and dynamics in development and complex biological networks.
🤖 I’m also interested in clinical genomics, scientific applications of AI, and broader topics in developmental biology, cognitive science, neuroscience, and biophysics.
🔬 This GitHub mostly contains personal tools, notes, and small bioinformatics utilities. Much of my professional development work lives in private institutional repositories or collaborative projects.
