Hello, I'm Matheus! 👋

I'm a Cybersecurity Enthusiast currently studying Computer Science at University of São Paulo (USP) and diving deep into Digital Forensics and Incident Response.

I'm also a member of the cybersecurity university group GANESH since 2021.

What I'm Learning

🎓 Computer Science Student: Building a solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, software development and testing with a focus on security.

🔐 Cybersecurity: Exploring vulnerability management, penetration testing, threat hunting, network security and more.

🕵️‍♂️ Digital Forensics: Investigating and analyzing digital evidence using various tools and techniques, like Autopsy, FTK Imager, Volatillity, etc.

⚡ Incident Response: Learning how to respond to and mitigate security incidents, malware analysis, breach containment and monitoring with tools like Splunk, for example.

📚 Some of the courses I've taken

  • Cisco Networking Academy: Acquired hands-on knowledge in networking, security, and routing, focusing on the fundamentals of network architecture and how to defend networks (Cyber Threat Management, Network Defense, etc.).
  • DESEC Web Development Security: Specializing in securing web applications and understanding common vulnerabilities like SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF and more.
  • Academia de Forense Digital: Training on digital forensics techniques, specializing in incident analysis, data recovery, and digital evidence handling.
  • Specialization in Incident Response and Forensics by the Hackers do Bem Program: Provides a thorough understanding of the processes and methodologies used in incident response and digital forensics. It combines theoretical knowledge with practical lab-based training, where participants simulate real-world scenarios in controlled environments to practice.
  • Others: Continuously participating in various other online courses, workshops and certifications to stay updated with the latest trends and threats in cybersecurity and digital forensics.
