Hi @maxistar, I added android:textCursorDrawable="@null" which means that "cursor's color" will be the same as the "font color" . That will prevent having incompatible "background" and "highlight" color . I which you merge my PR 😉

Hm, I see here two problems:

  1. it does not fix highlight color but making the blinking cursor pointer color to be the same color as text so the commit message is misleading.
  2. together with setting the cursor pointer color it makes the cursor to be extremely thin which makes it harder to see...
    Is it possibly to apply color to the cursor without affecting other its properties?

Okay @maksimstarikov , I changed the commit message , i will try to fix the problem of the thin cursor 👍
