What went well?
I liked that it was really easy to implement a 2-column list with few properties; the implementation is quite similar to a ListView one so it is straightforward to create a CollectionView in minutes!
How easy is it to convert your existing ListView to the CollectionView?
Pretty straightforward.
What didn't go well?
Everything worked in my implementation, so there wasn't any problem at all.
Did you run into any particular difficulties, and if so, what were the specific causes?
No
How is the performance?
Smooth, the list loaded quickly and it is fast to scroll between items.
Missing or Desired Things:
Pull-to-refresh, but I think everybody has said that already.
