1.18.0 — MINOR

Bundles two closed milestones:

Evidence

  • test_release_1_18_0.py 11/11 green (forward-migrated lineage asserts)
  • add.py check green; engine trees parity held (no engine change this cut)
  • 6 version fields bumped in lockstep (package.json, package-lock ×2, pyproject, __init__.py, plugin.json)
  • Engine ledger row recorded (RELEASES.md, --with-waivers)

Disclosed waivers (non-security, signed, expire 2026-08-04)

  • reclaim-ticket-race · js-reclaim-lock-heartbeat

After merge (human-run)

  • git tag v1.18.0 && git push origin v1.18.0 → publish.yml ships npm + PyPI (trust the in-band PyPI job).

Minor cut bundling two closed milestones:
- build-strategy-facets: faceted §5 build strategy (Approach · Data
strategy · Pattern · Optimization stance) + per-facet ADR harvest
- delta-drain: compact-foundation --propose · persona `verify` flow ·
streams worker-contract persona flow line · engine-built roster line

Version sources bumped in lockstep (package.json · package-lock ×2 ·
pyproject.toml · __init__.py · plugin.json); test_release_1_18_0.py
migrated forward (11/11 green); both riding waivers disclosed in the
notes; engine ledger row recorded (RELEASES.md + CHANGELOG). Milestones
delta-drain + build-strategy-facets archived.

Tag/publish remain human-run per release.md.

…7.0 ledger date

Port the root README's hook line, Highlights block, trust framing, docs
badge, and learn-more links into add-method/README.md while keeping its
npm-package shape (Quick Start-first, no banner, package-relative links).
Fix the engine ledger's 1.17.0 date (2026-07-07 -> 2026-07-06) to match
the rich CHANGELOG. Slang guard respected (prose-'fold' rephrased).
