Linux や macOS などのUNIX環境へインストールしようとするとインストールエラーが出ることに気づきました。
コードを確認したところ、昔に書かれた文字コードによって文字化けが発生してしている箇所が多々あり、それによって構文エラーが発生しているのが原因でした。
文字化けが発生している箇所をUTF-8へ変換しました (おそらくほぼ全て変換出来たと思います)。
文字化けは "ISO-2022-JP"、"Shift JIS"、"EUC-JP" の文字コードで発生していました。
ChangeLogへ非常にシンプルですがコメントを書かせて頂いています。
これで私の手元にあるLinux (UbuntuとDebian)、macOS 13.3 Ventura へインストールした Emacs 28.2で問題なくddskkをインストールできました。
