The intent of these presets is to maintain consistent volume across varied sources. This reduces the need to manually change output volume, helps with understanding speech, and reduces the risk of ear damage.
- base.json is a device-agnostic implementation of only autogain, compression, and limiter.
- BX8.json adds a low shelf cut filter at 30hz, the low frequency response rating of the M-Audio BX8.
- FW12.json adds a low shelf cut and a parametric EQ tuned to make Framework 12 speakers sound less tinny.
