The rationale for making it monovalent is that it's common to say ⟪X is ill⟫ without specifying the illness, and we have an unofficial word ⟪ıqbıa⟫ for explicitly specifying the nature of the illness (alternatively, ⟪bıabo⟫ could be another option).
