This web-based app will permute the order of a list of items primarily a sample list for a mass spectrometer. When the sample groups/classes are in order a run order effect can be observed in the final data [1-2]. This app will help to randomize the order of the samples to avoid this effect by finding the best permutation to reduce the run order effect. Additionally, the app tries to create a run order, orthogonal to the sample classes. This thereby prevents an artificial effect from being created by the analytical instruments.
