I had to read this a couple of times to make sense of it, probably due to being an ESOL speaker. Particularly, I wasn't sure if it was about communication of differences, or communication between people with differences (which is what I read initially).
Would something like this work:
“Please engage with grace, humility, and discernment when communicating about differences.”

-1. I think "across" is better than "about". I think the statement is intended to be about people who have differences communicating with each other.
Another option would be to shorten the sentence like this:
Please engage with grace, humility, and discernment when communicating.
Or like this:
Please engage with grace, humility, and discernment.

I like both suggestions, and prefer the last, it provides all the clarity with the least words!
