Before you make any issues on GitHub, make sure, to read the following page carefully.

AdvancedCustomMenu+ won't load

Make sure, that you have the latest version and that AdvancedCustomItemAPI is installed.

the inventory shows a bedrock with the name "INVALID ITEM"

That means, that the item-name is typed wrong.
Make sure, to have no spaces in the itemname and that you use the right Item-name, because Spigot sometimes has different Item-names then vanilla-minecraft.

Why does sound XY not work?

You probably use a 1.9+ sound-name on a 1.8 server (or vise-versa)
The sound-names have changed with 1.9.
