Cartridges‑Pack‑V50
Cartridges are modular domain knowledge packages that extend the Genesis Code Protocol by providing embeddings, indexes, lexicons, evaluation metrics and optional tools. The V50 Cartridges Pack introduces a v2.0 schema and includes a curated set of built‑in cartridges.
Each cartridge contains:

Manifest (
CARTRIDGE.json) – metadata and configuration. Fields include name, version, domain, description, supported runners, embedding models, indexes, lexicons, evaluation thresholds, tools, governance notes and a signature. - Vectorisation stack – embedding models and index configurations for retrieval.
- Lexicons & data anchors – vocabularies, ontologies and anchor terms to improve search and classification.
- Evaluation hooks – metrics and thresholds for retrieval quality, hallucination rate and provenance coverage.
- Tool bundles – optional domain‑specific tools with JSON contracts.
- Governance notes – licensing, provenance and sustainability information.
Cartridges live in cartridges/<domain>/, are registered in registry/REGISTRY.json and are validated by the CartridgesParsePack runner. Attach cartridges at any phase using attach cartridge <name>. Cartridges must be signed using the Exotics meta‑cartridge key.
GCP V50 ships with cartridges for core domains. Each includes its own embedding model, index, lexicons, tools and evaluation thresholds. Highlights include:
- Code – programming languages, algorithms and software engineering patterns.
- Energy & Power Systems – electric power grids, renewable energy, battery technologies and smart grids.
- Legal & Regulatory – laws, regulations and compliance frameworks (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA, EU AI Act).
- Life Sciences & Healthcare – biology, medicine, genomics, drug discovery and healthcare guidelines.
- Agriculture & Food Systems – crop science, soil health, farming practices and supply chains.
- Quantum Materials & Advanced Physics – superconductivity, topological phases and quantum computing architectures.
- Advanced Robotics & Autonomous Systems – robotics design, control theory, autonomous vehicles and drones.
- Climate Adaptation & Sustainability – climate science, carbon accounting, sustainability frameworks and adaptation strategies.
- Synthetic Biology & Biodesign – genetic circuits, metabolic engineering and synthetic ecosystems.
- FinTech & Regulation – financial technologies (payments, blockchain, securities) and regulatory compliance.
Each cartridge defines evaluation thresholds (e.g. minimum retrieval MRR, maximum hallucination rate, provenance coverage) and has governance notes specifying licences and sustainability factors.
